Ariana Grande LIKES Tweets About Engagement & Tweets About Her Happiness

So by now you’ve heard the news that Ariana is reportedly ENGAGED to boyfriend of a few weeks, Pete Davidson. Us Weekly and People broke the news, and a dozen other outlets confirmed through multiple sources that Ari and Pete have been telling friends about the engagement. TMZ also reported that it’s new, and that Pete proposed last week.
Considering the two BOTH came out of serious relationships before dating and have only been together since May, the news has been a little hard to believe. But shortly after the news made it rounds on the Internet and social media started talking, Ari started giving us some hints that the engagement is, in fact, legit.
Yesterday, Ariana liked two tweets about the alleged engagement between her and Pete. The first one was from a fan who wrote QUOTE, "I’m literally so happy like.... I never thought I would see this day come omfg. congratulations @ArianaGrande we love you smmmm 3,", and the second read QUOTE This one read, "Anyway I expect to be a groomsman and would like the non vegan option for the reception. mazel tov hun! @ArianaGrande."
For further confirmation that Ari is in NO RUSH to shut the engagement rumors down, she also tweeted out a couple cryptic yet seemingly happy tweets. First, she decided to tweet the lyrics QUOTE, “tell them how i’m defying gravity,” from the musical Wicked, and then she tweeted out a message that read “I love you so much okay bye” which was accompanied with a ton of monkey-covering-his-eyes emojis.
BUT, Ari has since deleted THOSE tweets, and replaced them with even MORE telling tweets. One from last night read QUOTE, “i love u sm hi & thank u i love u bye”.
She also directly replied to fans who tweeted at her over the news. One commented that she deserves to be happy forever, while the other reminded Ari QUOTE, “you can always talk to us and trust us. you know that”, to which Ari replied QUOTE, “i know. i love u so fuckin much. hi. i’m so happy. and excited.”
But the REAL kicker was when a fan tweeted at Ari QUOTE, “I hope he knows he is marrying us as well”, to which Ari replied with QUOTE, “HAHAHAHAHAHH HES BEEN BRIEFED”.
Well there you have it, guys. Basically an official confirmation through Tweets!
