Reports of Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson’s engagement spread like wildfire and needless to say, the internet was SHOOK.
I mean, can you blame them? A lot of us are still trying to process this news.
It has been quite the week and unfortunately it’s only Tuesday. After just weeks of dating, it’s being reported that Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson have taken their relationship to the next level and by next level I mean the one right before getting hitched.
While many outlets have insiders and sources who confirmed the rumors of engagement, Ari and Pete have yet to publicly confirm the news themselves. However, that didn’t stop the people of the internet from doing what they do best – react to shocking news.
One user joked about Ari and Pete’s relationship by tweeting QUOTE, “I’ve had water bottles in my room longer than Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson’s Relationship.” Another tweeted QUOTE, “If Ariana and Pete can get engaged after a few weeks of dating I can fall in love with the hot grocery store cashier in one day.”
One Twitter user made the best Sims joke of all time by tweeting, “Whoever is controlling the Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson sims just queued up get to know, chat, get to know, flirt, hug, ask if single, give rose, first kiss, get to know, tell joke, make out, get to know, ask to move in, kiss, woo hoo, propose, and put the game on fast forward.”
While another tweeted, “Between IHOP becoming IHOB and Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson getting ganged after a couple weeks of dating, how TF am I supposed to concentrate at work?” Girl, same.
But jokes aside, Ari’s fans were pretty happy and supportive of the engagement. With one fan writing QUOTE, “Omg Ariana Grande is engaged to a guy with a good sense of humor and that is goals!!! Congrats.” And another wrote, “Congrats Ariana I know I’m late but I’m really happy for you and if you’re happy, I’m happy.”
Sounds like a lot of her fans are on board with this!
