Somebody call a medic because I think Ariana Grande swallowed Celine Dion.
The girl deserves an award for that spot on impression! Tell someone to close their eyes and listen to that who hasn’t seen it and I guarantee they’ll think its Celine.
Ariana Grande stopped by the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Friday night and reminded us all that not only does she have killer pipes, but she can also get her comedy and tragedy on as well -- aka she’s a bomb actress.
So this amazing Celine impression happened when Jimmy brought up the fact that he heard Ariana could do it really well. At first Ariana was a little shy and hesitant, but then she agreed to show off her skills only if Jimmy did it with her And so their duet of Celine and Peabo Bryson’s version of “Beauty and the Beast” was born and man was it a beautiful baby. Ariana even got Celine’s chest thump in there. It was Priceless.
Ok so then Ariana joined Jimmy for his Ew skit in which she played a girl named Alexa Armstrong who looked like Lisa Frank sneezed all over her complete with pink flamingos on her shirt, a flower headband, hearts dangling from her ears, streamers protruding from her pigtails, and a unicorn purse.
Surely in honor of Ariana’s killer vocals, Jimmy added a new segment to the skit called the “Ew sing off” in which he and Ariana sang some rifts with ew randomly inserted. This skit was hilarious, take a look:
