Deputy communications and digital minister Teo Nie Ching said it was the Perikatan Nasional administration under Muhyiddin Yassin that had proposed to move the community communications department (J-Kom) to the Prime Minister's Department.

She was responding to Wan Saiful Wan Jan who had asked why the department was moved out of the ministry.

Teo said, his question should be directed to Muhyiddin or the Communications and Multimedia minister then, Saifuddin Abdullah instead.
