The Kuala Lumpur High Court this morning acquitted former Baling MP Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim of three corruption and six money laundering charges linked to road projects in Perak and Kedah.
The decision was made as the court allowed Azeez's application for an acquittal from all the charges, which was not challenged by the prosecution.
For the three counts of corruption, Azeez was accused of accepting bribes of RM5.2 million over road projects in the two states.
