Najib pleads not guilty to money laundering charges

Former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak pleaded not guilty at the Kuala Lumpur High Court on Wednesday to three charges of money laundering as part of a probe into money missing from state fund 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB). The charges were related to three electronic transfers amounting to RM42 million from SRC International, a former 1MDB unit, into Najib's personal bank account and will be merged with his other charges of bribery and breach of trust.
