Caretaker Kedah menteri besar Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor has accused the current administration of using enforcement agencies to silence him.

This comes after he was charged in court earlier today with two counts of uttering remarks with “seditious tendency”.

If found guilty, Sanusi can be jailed for up to three years, fined up to RM5,000, or both for each offence.

After claiming trial to both charges, Sanusi was ordered to post an RM5,000 bail for each charge. Both judges also allowed the prosecutors' application to impose a gag order on Sanusi, preventing him from discussing the trial in public.
