Selangor Perikatan Nasional chief Azmin Ali has described the looming state election as “special”, asserting that it is used as the people’s referendum to express their anger towards the unnatural government.

“In his campaigns before this, Anwar would say, ’If I form the government and become the prime minister today, the price of petrol will be reduced tomorrow’. He is now the prime minister and has formed the government. But the petrol price has not gone down,” he said.

Azmin also did not mince his words when he took his former mentor-turned-rival Anwar’s administration to task over several pressing matters pertaining to the country’s economy.
