The role of the Performance and Management Delivery Unit (Pemandu), the brainchild of Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak, has to be reviewed because it "overlaps" various ministries and affects the efficiency of the civil service, an MP from the BN said today.
Pemandu could perhaps be reverted to the role of a consultancy, or maybe have its role taken back by the Economic Performance Unit (EPU), Kulim-Bandar Baharu MP Abdul Aziz Sheikh Fadzir told reporters at a press conference at Parliament House.
