Bebe Rexha Told "Too Old To Be Sexy"! Taylor Swift & Rita Ora DEFEND Her

Bebe Rexha posted a thirst trap to Instagram – but don’t worry – it was for a good reason.

What’s up guys it’s Emile Ennis Jr here with Clevver News. Bebe Rexha posted this photo of her in her underwear along with a long caption. In the post she states that recently a male music executive told her that she is quote “too old to be sexy.”

She said “I’m a songwriter and I post sexy pics on my Instagram and that’s not what female songwriters are supposed to do, especially for my age. I’m 29.”
She continued “I’m fed up with being put in a box. I make my own rules. I’m tired of women getting labeled as “hags” when they get old and guys get labeled as sexy with age”

It’s a trend that’s been happening for far too long in Hollywood – women have a harder time finding roles in movies or are told that they’re too old to be making pop music. And Bebe’s not going to let the trend continue. She said “I’m not gonna lie about my age or sing songs that I feel will sell better because they sound younger. I’m gonna celebrate my age because you know what, I’m wiser, I’m stronger, and TRUST ME I’m a much better lover than I was 10 years ago.”

I’m gonna have to trust her on that last point.

She posted the same photo and message to Twitter as well, where she added “picture dedicated to the exec who said I am too old to be sexy. Is this too sexy for you?”
And guys, let’s get something straight.

29 is not old.

You know who else is 29?

Taylor Swift. Who commented on Bebe’s post “DRAG THEM. 29 YEAR OLDS UNITE”
And unite they should. Because there are PLENTY of very sexy 29 year olds.

Liam Hemsworth
Kristen Stewart,
Margot Robbie,
Bill Skarsgard
and Joe Jonas
And if you don’t find at LEAST one of those people sexy

And besides Taylor, a lot of famous friends came to Bebe’s defense.

Rita Ora commented “you are beautiful, getting sexier with age and your talent sings for itself.”
The Chainsmokers, Tinashe, Neyo, and fellow songwriter Justin Tranter also commented words of support for Bebe.
