The Malaysian Islamic Strategic Research Institute (Iksim) chief executive office Mahamad Naser Disa claims that being lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender (LGBT) can be considered a crime itself.
Mahamad was reacting to a statement made by minister in the Prime Minister's Department for religious affairs Mujahid Yusof Rawa yesterday.
Mujahid, in an interview with Malaysiakini, said authorities cannot act against LGBT individuals unless a crime has been committed.
