Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad reported that the country’s crime index in 2018 dropped by 11.9%.
He said that in 2018, there were 88,662 cases which was 11.9% lower than the target threshold of 100,611 cases.
Dr Mahathir said this in his speech at the 212th Police Day celebration at the police training centre (Pulapol) on Monday.
