MACC chief Dzulkifli Ahmad has clarified that the commission did not propose to conduct its own corruption index.
He said what was mentioned in an earlier press conference was that the MACC proposed for the government to conduct the nation's own corruption index and hoped that it would be conducted by an independent body, be it a university or an NGO instead of MACC itself.
