PLL Executive Producer Marlene King is set to executive produce a new series that promises to be just as mysterious and addicting. The new Series “Famous in Love” is based off of a novel and will star Bella Thorne who plays a normal high school student named Paige Townsen who is plucked from obscurity to star in a major Hollywood movie trilogy. The book follows her as she adjust to her new life as a star in Hollywood and of course there are some romances with 2 of her costars (which have not been cast yet). And on top of all that, she is trying to find out what happened to a famous missing pop star.
Sounds like a great story, and Bella Thorne thought so too. She said QUOTE "[The author] Rebecca Serle completely captured what it's like to be a part of Young Hollywood…I absolutely loved Famous in Love. A must-read for anyone curious about life and love behind the scenes." Well…
ABC Family just got the green light to start shooting a pilot which was written by Marlene King and the author of the novel Rebecca Serle. . While there is no word yet on when it will air, it reads like a recipe for a PLL follow up hit full of romances, love triangles, suspense, and crazy plot twists.
