Bella Thorne Stars In GRAPHIC "Assassination Nation" Trailer With Tons of Trigger Warnings

Bella Thorne’s upcoming film ‘Assassination Nation’ just dropped a brand new trailer and it’s triggering to say the least.
Let this be a warning to you: ‘Assassination Nation’ is NOT for the faint of heart.
Fragile male egos, sexism, transphobia, toxic masculinity, those are just a few of the trigger warnings listed in the latest trailer for ‘Assassination Nation.’ On Thursday the team behind the upcoming film, which stars the likes of Bella Thorne, Odessa Young, Suki Waterhouse, and Maude Apatow – just to name a few – released a brand new teaser trailer for the movie.
The red-band trailer starts off with a voice over from one of the girls in the film, explaining how her town of Salem basically lost all chill before going into a series of trigger warnings and if you’re a bit squeamish, maybe keep your eyes closed for like, the next 10 seconds.

According to Deadline, the film’s official plot is as follows: “High school senior Lily and her group of friends live in a haze of texts, posts, selfies and chats just like the rest of the world. So, when an anonymous hacker starts posting details from the private lives of everyone in their small town, the result is absolute madness leaving Lily and her friends questioning whether they’ll live through the night.”
So essentially the film is like ‘The Purge’ but more centered around teenagers and takes place both in real life and in the digital world. I’m into it.
‘Assassination Nation’ hits theaters September 21st, so mark your calendars and get ready for one hell of a movie.
