Bella Thorne is ready to get freaky in a new movie!! Um, let me say that again -- the star is ready to get freaked out in her next project. She signed on for the newest sequel in the Amityville Horror franchise, making the announcement by telling her Twitter followers about all of the awesome stuff she's working on: QUOTE 'so happy to announce this project a blumhouse production and dimension films with Jennifer Jason Leigh' attached to an Instagram pic of the exclusive announcement on The Wrap. She also revealed that she will be playing Belle, a daughter to Jennifer's character -- who is a single mom of 3 kids who moves into the infamous Amityville house, where they all learn of the horrors and dark history of the house, and apparently they'll come face-to-face with the evil in there. Originally, this new Amityville movie was set to be called The Lost Tapes and would have focused on lost footage -- reportedly to really act as a sequel to the original move which took place in the 1970s... but all of this is in the past now. Congrats to our girl Bella Thorne for landing this starring role! You can check out this project as soon as early next year; the Amityville follow-up is slated for a January 2, 2015 release.
