Berjaya Corp Bhd lodged a police report on April 26 in a bid to track down the “unnamed sources” quoted in a Bloomberg report about a purported plan to build a casino in Forest City.

The company has since refuted claims that such plans were in the pipeline.

Berjaya said the sources had tarnished their reputation by spreading false information and that it trusts the police would take the necessary measures to investigate the matter.
