Dengkil assemblyperson Adhif Syan Abdullah, who is also Selangor Bersatu Youth chief, denied that he was among those detained in the raid, together with 10 unidentified government officers.
Adhif admitted to being at the "wrong place at the wrong time", but maintained he wasn't arrested after being tested positive for drugs.
However, Selangor Bersatu chief Abdul Rashid Asari confirmed that the party assemblyperson has been detained for using illicit drugs at 1.30am today.
Abdul Rashid said the assemblyperson did not contact him on the matter and he had learned of the arrest from the Home Ministry.
Meanwhile, Youth and Sports Minister Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman has suspended a ministry officer, who was among those detained.
