Beyonce And Jay Z Are Getting Sued For their hit song ‘Drunk In Love’. WHATTT!
Queen Bee and her mogul husband, Jay Z are getting sued by a Hungarian folk singer for their song ‘Drunk In Love’.
The singer names Mitsou claims that Beyonce, Jay, and the co-producer of the song Timbaland, used her voice on the song and she wants some credit---29% of the credit exactly.
The lawsuit alleges that the opening vocals in the song, you know the unearthly, supernatural sounds, are actually her vocals from her 1995 song “Bajba, Bajba Pelem.” Listen right here:
The suit says quote “Following Mitsou’s stirring featured solo vocal introduction, Mitsou’s voice continues to sing as Beyoncé begins to sing, to evoke foreign eroticism alongside the sexually intense lyrics performed by Beyoncé and Jay Z in ‘Drunk in Love’”.
TMZ is reporting Mitsou wants “damages” as well as a judge to ban anyone from playing the song. Considering it was one of the most successful songs of last year it sounds like it’s a little late for that one.
What do you guys think? Does it sound like Mitsou’s vocals on Beyonce and Jay-Z’s “Drunk in Love” song? Or are these allegations bogus?
