Billie Eilish CLAPS BACK At BTS Haters & Sparks Collaboration Rumors!

Hey everyone it’s Sussan Mourad here with Clevver News! So this past weekend, Billie performed at Austin City Limits music festival in Texas! Billie is currently in the midst of her “Where do we go” world tour, so this was a welcome visit! During a Q&A interview with the festival, Billie was asked if she would collaborate with BTS… to which she threw it out to the crowd to get their opinions! And while you would think fans would be losing their minds with excitement… shockingly enough, some weren’t too keen on the idea! You can hear some audible no’s from the crowd… listen for yourself.
Ok so you definitely heard some people scream YES.. but then you also heard some people booing and screaming NO… I couldn’t believe it. I have to agree with Billie’s reaction to the haters, that was really mean! And I don’t really know what these booers are booing about, I would totally be here for a BTS X Billie Eilish collaboration! So boo to you haters.
Honestly, just think about how epic a Billie x BTS collab would be?!? As you can see, a number of fans were not here for this negativity. And honestly, I’m sure the BTS guys would look past the negativity if they saw this interview, because as Billie said, they have only said really nice things about her in the past. We also know that Jungkook is a major Billie stan … we will never forget that time he almost broke the internet with his video dancing to “Bad Guy.”
And I have to say I really do love this video of Jungkook. Every time I rewatch it, which is more times than I'm willing to admit, I find something else I love about it. And I’m not the only one who loves it. The video has almost 25 million views which is a huge number even for a group as big as BTS. Jungkook has also spoken out about Billie during a Beats 1 Radio interview in April. He named her as an artist the group hopes to work with soon. ASK and you shall receive… or possibly receive!
It did seem like Billie was interested and shut down the haters, so I wouldn’t be surprised if we see a collab from them in the future.Especially now that BTS is back from hiatus. I mean J-Hope just did a collab with Becky G, so anything is possible now that they’re back in action.
Their song Chicken Noodle Soup debuted on the singles charts and the music video already has over 66 Million views!And in case you somehow forgot, BTS recently took a hiatus to rest, relax, and regroup, but that didn’t last long as nearly a month into their hiatus they announced they were returning to performing!
Back in August Big Hit Entertainment, released a statement that said that the break would provide the members with quote, "a chance to enjoy the ordinary lives of young people in their 20s, albeit briefly."But now, the boys are taking over the world again, not that they ever stopped even when they were on break, honestly.According to Soompi, a source from Big Hit announced in September that quote, "BTS has ended their period of rest and will be flying out today for a scheduled activity.” As scheduled, the band has plans to continue their “Love Yourself: Speak Yourself” Tour this weekend in Saudi Arabia and they will also be performing at the Olympic Stadium in Seoul as the conclusion to their epic tour October 26, 27, and 29.
So with the BTS tour ending at the end of the month and Billie’s tour ending in November, it looks like they both might have some time soon to work on some music together.But they should probably get on it quick because Billie isn’t taking much time off at all before heading back on the road again. Neither Billie nor BTS are strangers to collaborations though. We all know that BTS has done collabs with Halsey, Nicki Minaj, Ed Sheeran, Steve Aoki, and more. While Billie Eilish has collaborated with stars like Justin Bieber and Khalid, so it definitely doesn’t seem out of the question.And unlike those that booed, I am really here for this collab. I think it would probably break the internet and people would love it.
