Ayer Keroh assemblyperson Kerk Chee Yee renewed his call for BN state assemblypersons to prove that there has been no effort to oust Malacca Chief Minister Sulaiman Md Ali.
This came amid speculation that Sulaiman was being forced to resign, a claim Malacca Umno denied.
Kerk noted that when similar claims emerged two months ago, he had asked all 20 BN representatives to dispel the claim by pledging their support for Sulaiman, who is Umno's Lendu assemblyperson, but BN had branded it as "cheap politics".
