Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the government should fulfill plans laid out in its previous budget before announcing new plans.
"Implement the earlier plans. A lot of things raised last year were not implemented.
"Now they are promising this and that. Implemented the earlier plans first, then they will gain the people's confidence," said Zahid, who is also Bagan Datoh MP, after the Budget 2020 speech in Parliament yesterday.
