Inspector-General of Police Razarudin Husain has described speculations of a major reshuffle involving Bukit Aman's top leadership as "untrue" as the federal police headquarters has not issued an official statement on the matter.

Razarudin said police are aware of a news report quoting sources alleging that it was a Bukit Aman "internal plan" with several senior officers expected to be transferred out of the agency.

"The Royal Malaysian Police urged all quarters to not quote unofficial sources particularly when involving the security forces and government agencies," he said.
