Over 1,000 taxi drivers gathered outside the Prime Minister’s Office on Wednesday, calling on Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad to resolve issues facing the taxi industry and for a level playing field between taxis and private cars.
The group, represented by Gabungan Teksi SeMalaysia (GTSM), managed to hand over a memorandum to the PM’s political secretary, Abu Bakar Yahya.
