The cabinet today decided to withdraw its Urban Renewal Bill, which was tabled in the Dewan Rakyat during the last session, according to Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil.

Addressing a press conference, the federal government spokesperson said the decision was made to allow several amendments be made to the blue bill for "improvement".
