MIC president Dr S Subramaniam has made it clear his party will not budge with regard to contesting in the Cameron Highlands parliamentary seat in the coming general election.
This is in response to MyPPP president M Kayveas wanting to contest in the popular hill resort replete with tea plantations.
Subramaniam said MIC would also put it across to Prime Minister and BN chairperson Najib Abdul Razak that the seat should remain with MIC, as it is the party's traditional stronghold.
