Barisan Nasional chairperson Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has confirmed that MIC will be contesting the Cameron Highlands seat in the re-election.
He said this during a special press conference at PWTC today.
This is after MIC announced that it will not be appealing against the Election Court's ruling to vacate the Cameron Highlands parliamentary seat.
Party president S Vigneswaran said the decision was made in light of the court's decision, the current political situation and party strategy.
