Camila Cabello SPEAKS OUT On Fifth Harmony VMA Performance For First Time

Apparently the performance actually really hurt Camila’s feelings.
As we all know, this past year at the VMAs, Fifth Harmony’s performance had everyone talking. Ya know, since the beginning of their performance included a fake fifth member falling backwards offstage right as they started singing. Many thought this was a way of shading Camila for leaving the group, but until now, we had no idea how she felt about it.
But in a recent interview with The New York Times, Camila finally opened up about the whole thing and couldn’t help but tear up thinking about it. She revealed she was in her living room with her mom when watching it, saying QUOTE “It definitely hurt my feelings, I wasn’t expecting it, I wasn’t prepared for it — especially because at that point I’d moved on from it. I was just like, ‘What? Why?’”
She then went on to say, “I have to make space for the good stuff to happen in my life, I don’t like holding onto the past, especially when it’s stuff that, in my opinion, is just petty.”
Camila certainly does have good stuff going on in her life right now. Just last night, she performed her new single ‘Never Be The Same’ on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and absolutely slayed. Plus her debut solo album drops tomorrow.
