Deputy Education Minister Datuk Chong Sin Woon has been appointed as the new chairman of the Chinese Language Standardisation Council of Malaysia. He is replacing MCA deputy president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong, who had chaired the council since 2009.
