Christy Carlson Romano JOINS Live-Action Kim Possible Movie Cast

If you didn’t know, Kim Possible is back and this time in the form of a live-action Disney Channel Original Movie. Yup, one of your fav animated series will transform into a full-length film. We already know that newcomer Sadie Stanley is ready to save world, playing our loveable red-headed teenage spy Kim. We’re super excited that Alyson Hannigan will play Kim’s mom. In addition, The Goldberg’s Sean Giambrone will play Kim’ sidekick Ron Stoppable and Todd Stashwick will play Kim’s nemesis Dr. Drakken. Now we can confirm that Christy Carlson Romano who voiced Kim in the animated series will APPEAR in the live-action movie in a cameo role. The bad news is we have no idea what part she’ll play. Maybe she’ll be Kim’s older sister? Or a teacher at Kim’s school? Regardless, we absolutely love that she’s involved in this live-action adaptation and we can’t wait for the nostalgia.
Joining Christy from the animated series is Patton Oswalt who voiced super villain Professor Dementor. Unlike Christy, Patton is set to appear as the same character in the movie! The good news keeps coming. We got our first taste of the new flick today when Disney dropped the very first teaser trailer.
If you recall, the original series launched in 2002 and ran for 87 episodes. The new movie is in good hands, with the script being written by series creators Mark McCorkle and Robert Schooley along with Josh Cagan.
