Malaysia today recorded 179 new Covid-19 cases, bringing the total to 3,662 infections, according to Health Ministry director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

Of the 179 new cases, 46 are linked to the Sri Petaling gathering which took place in late February.

Hisham also reported four new deaths, bringing the total to 61 casualties.

The number of Covid-19 patients in the intensive care unit (ICU) is 99 people.
