Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad said that currencies around the world are depreciating due to the effects of the trade war between China and America as well as the poor economic performance of the countries.
He said many currencies were depreciating at a faster rate than the ringgit and he felt that the ringgit was under-valued, but did not elaborate.
