Incumbent Port Dickson MP Danyal Balagopal Abdullah has rebutted Patriot president Mohamed Arshad Raji.
Previously, Arshad urged PKR president-elect Anwar Ibrahim to reconsider Port Dickson as his comeback seat, saying that the choice could lead to a "backlash" by veterans and active military personnel in the constituency.
Danyal said Arshad has lost touch with reality on the ground.
The Port Dickson parliamentary seat has been vacated to pave the way for a by-election to be contested by Anwar.
