DAP MP lodges police report against Sanusi over insulting remarks

DAP’s Chong Zhemin has filed a police report against Muhammad Sanusi Md Noor following the Kedah MB’s recent insult against Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Tiong King Sing.

The Kampar MP wants the authorities to open an investigation under the Sedition Act 1948 and take appropriate action.

Chong said the remark has offended and belittled the Buddhist religion and can cause ill-feelings or hatred between one culture and religion towards another.
