DAP's Lim Kit Siang and Charles Santiago announced today that they will be visiting the Home Ministry, the police as well as the Human Rights Commission of Malaysia (SUHAKAM) to demand an end to deaths in custody.
This comes in the wake of the death of 44-year old S Balamurugan under police custody last week. Despite a request by the magistrate to take him to the hospital and releasing him, the police did not do so.
