Tourism and Culture Minister Nazri Abdul Aziz has proposed several alternative locations for the debate with former prime minister Mahathir Mohamad after the police revoked the permit for the debate.
The minister said the event could be held at the police auditorium in Cheras and he was also willing to hold the debate overseas, be it in London, Greenland or even Antarctica.
He was responding to the police cancelling the debate based on security reasons after initially giving the green light for it to be held at the Sinar Harian office in Shah Alam on April 7.
