The police have detained 47 foreign workers mostly of Nepalese origin following two incidents of rioting at an electronics export factory in Kulai.

The riots broke out in the southern industrial hub of Johor on Tuesday at a factory run by JCY International, a Malaysian firm that makes parts for electronic giants including Samsung.
