Demi Lovato is getting ALL political, backing Hillary Clinton, saying that she doesn’t think there is a woman more confident than her.
Demi stepped out in Iowa in support of who she is wants to become our president, and we’ve got the details, right now on Clevver News!
The 23 year old pop star joined the presidential candidate at the University of Iowa just yesterday, to perform a set of 3 songs to nearly 2,000 fans, all WHILE supporting who she believes should run the country.
GIRL is Killin’ IT! Before bringing Hillary on stage, Lovato told the audience QUOTE: “It’s time that we celebrate the real superstar that's here today. I couldn't be more thrilled to be here in support of her. The person that is about to walk on this stage, not only am I voting for because of her beliefs, her strength and the fact that she completely embodies the concept of women empowerment… Last, but not least, I am voting for her because I truly believe that there is nobody more qualified to run this country—our country—than our Secretary of State."
Well, it’s not a bad gig to have Demi Lovato on your team, and it didn’t go unnoticed as Hillary also praised Demi for being on her side by saying QUOTE: "You've given hope and positive reinforcement to so many. I'm thrilled you're here, lending your voice and your example to our efforts to get people to get out and caucus."
With the Feb. 1 caucus nearing, Demi isn’t the only one lending her voice… Stars such Katy Perry AND Lena Dunham are also helping Hillary spread the message.
