Disney Channel Shares Touching Tribute To Cameron Boyce

After Descendants 3 premiered Friday night, Disney also released a heartfelt tribute video celebrating Cameron Boyce after he tragically passed away.
What’s up? It’s Emile Ennis Jr. here with Clevver News and after Disney learned the news that Cameron passed away due to complications from epilepsy, they knew they had to do something special for Descendants 3, which was Cameron’s last acting role in the series.
And boy did they do just that.
The end credits of the film featured a two-minute long video highlighting Cameron’s career from his ‘Jessie’ days to all three Descendants movies.
It also included clips of old interviews of his co-stars like Debby Ryan and Sofia Carson talking about working with Cameron.
And throughout the video a message was written between sweet clips and memories. It said quote, “Everything you are … Every smile, every laugh, every dance, every hug, every moment, everyone you touched … you mean everything to us.”
The night the movie premiered Disney Channel also wrote quote, “Tonight’s premiere of #Descendants3 is dedicated to #CameronBoyce and is a celebration of his talent and the joy he brought to the world. You’ll always be in our hearts, Cameron ❤️.”
The tribute video ended by telling the fans to reach out to friends and family to discuss their feelings about losing Cameron.
They Tweeted that everything is going to be ok and reminded fans that it’s never easy to lose a loved one and that no one deals with loss in the same way.
And fans really loved this tribute.
One person wrote quote, “okay but its SO important for Disney to put this on tv because grief is unfortunately so natural and for kids this little to lose a hero like Cam for someone who may not have experienced this before will watch this and have someone tell them they're allowed to FEEL”
And another person said quote, “This is why I love watching Disney channel”
And I personally think this was a beautiful tribute and Disney couldn’t have done a better job honoring Cameron.
