Just when you thought Disney had reached peak Instagram trapping, they’ve now released the ULTIMATE dessert that’ll have millennials running to the resorts.
Yes, Disney World just announced that they’re going to sell -- wait for it...
ROSE GOLD UNICORN CUPCAKES
The sweet treat is now available at Gasparilla Island Grill at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and it’s so cute you almosttttt don’t want to eat it.
According to Disney Food Blog, the exterior of the cupcake features QUOTE: “transparent wrapper with gold filigree, some rose gold-brushed ears, and a pointed ribbon of chocolate fashioned as a horn.”
As for the actual cupcake itself? The spongy dessert is strawberry-flavored with a rich hazelnut-flavored cream cheese in the middle.
ZOOM: How much is a flight to Disney World? Asking for a friend…
This isn’t the only delectable -- and Instagram-worthy -- creation Disney has up their sleeve. Here’s a breakdown on a few other desserts that’ll get your mouth watering.
Sticking with the theme of rose gold, Disney World also has a number of other rose gold cupcakes you can try. According to Disney Food Blog, you can can rose gold cupcakes throughout the resort at places like Sunshine Seasons in Epcot, Main Street Bakery in Magic Kingdom, or even Contempo Cafe in the Contemporary Resort.
We’re also gonna throw out an honorable mention to the ROSE GOLD MARGARITA at the Polynesian resort.
But if for some CRAZY reason cupcakes and margaritas aren’t your thing..
And seriously, if they aren’t, what’s wrong with you?
Disneyland has got you covered.
If you head over to the Happiest Place on Earth, mosey down Main Street, and hop into the Jolly Holiday bakery, you can get your hands on the newly-released Minnie Mouse rose gold macaron.
The snack has a strawberry compote and lemon verbena buttercream.
I don’t know what verbena is, but I know that I want to eat one of those things.
Moving right along, this one is still new-ish, but that doesn’t make it any less delicious.
As your marveling at the wonder that is Sleeping Beauty castle at Disneyland, you can pick yourself up a rose gold churro that’s right next to the monument.
Hmm, rose gold churro…really sensing a theme here, you guys…
Yes, this is Disney’s latest twist on the classic snack, with some tasters saying it has a fruity pebble vibe to it.
So into that, you guys.
It’s been available for a couple months now, but you never know when Disney might take something away, so try it while you can!
Now that we’ve got all that rose gold under our belts, it’s time to move on to something just as cute and just as delicious. As part of Disneyland’s Pixar Fest that kicks off April 13, they’ve got a whole menu of Pixar-themed food items, but these Little Green Men macarons are really speaking to me.
There’s also going to be Mike Wasowski bread, krispy treats, Finding Nemo cake pops, and even a Coco-themed churro that’s, ya know, coco-flavored.
GENIUS!
Next up, this is definitely for the more adventurous eaters. The Mint Julep bar in Disneyland is popular for its Mickey-shaped beignets, and they usually rotate in a seasonal flavor every couple months. What’s the flavor right now, you ask? Watermelon Chili Lime! It’s definitely a unique combo, but when you’re eating something that’s a fried piece of dough, how bad can it really be?
So obviously you need to be IN the parks to try these desserts out, but we’ve got a loophole if you don’t feel like dropping the cash for park admission.
DISNEY LIFE HACK!
Kayla’s Cake is a cute little macaron cart you can find along the shops in Downtown Disney. From unicorn macarons to cookie monster macarons, and even macarons that look like little eggs, these treats are beyond mouth-watering.
Now, just wanna throw a little disclaimer here, Disney is ALWAYS changing up their food menus, so always double check to see what they have available. And who knows, by the time you’re watching this they could have like ten new things. Or some of these things could be gone, so just a fair warning.
