The nomadic Penan tribe, totalling just 16,000, lives in the dense forest of Borneo since time immemorial. From the formation of Malaysia in 1963 until today they still struggle with getting the most basic instruments of citizenship: birth certificate and identity card. In the video, members of the tribe speak to us about the hardship brought about by this issue, being denied education, and some, being denied their very identity, and their plea for someone to come and solve their problem.
