Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said “Buy Malaysian” must be a slogan embraced by all citizens for local productions to thrive and succeed.
Dr Mahathir said for Malaysian-made products – be it books, automotive, food or even films to be accepted internationally – they need to get the support of the people first.
The Prime Minister said that to members of the entertainment industry at a dialogue and hi-tea session at Perdana Leadership Foundation on Thursday.
