Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, when asked on rebuilding his relationship with Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, said his former deputy was imprisoned by the court during his administration in 1999, not by him. He also said he’s currently working well with Anwar and will hand over the premiership when he is due for retirement. Dr Mahathir was at Chatham House in London on Monday to give a speech the future of democracy in Asia.
