[KiniNews] As the clock ticks down for Parliament to vote on the status of his leadership, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim is confident there will be no hiccups.

The Pakatan Harapan chairperson said leaders of the other coalitions in his government have agreed to back him.

“The heads of BN, GPS, GRS, Warisan and other parties have given their commitment and we can continue (governing),” he told a press conference in Putrajaya today.

Meanwhile, in a separate story, Kedah Menteri Besar Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor said he is prepared to face Anwar in court.

This was after Anwar filed a defamation suit against him over an election campaign speech he made in Tambun.
