Kedah Menteri Besar Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor said he is prepared to face Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim in court.

This was after Anwar filed a defamation suit against him over an election campaign speech he made in Tambun.

According to a copy of the suit’s statement of claim, Anwar said the allegedly defamatory statement was broadcasted live through a Facebook account named “Faizal Azumu”.

He claimed that the statement implied among others that he was not a good Muslim and abused his power in his political party to obtain a royal pardon.
