Synergy Promenade Sdn Bhd, the company involved in the development of Kuala Lumpur Vertical City has filed a RM100 million defamation and misrepresentation suit against former Felda chairperson Shahrir Samad.
Filing the suit today at the Kuala Lumpur High Court, they claimed Shahrir had between November last year and March this year been making misleading statements on the company.
Synergy Promenade is alleged to have owned the Felda headquarters’ land. 
It was previously reported by Malay daily Berita Harian that the transfer of ownership of the land took place when Felda Investment Corporation appointed the company as its main developer
