Deputy Prime Minister Fadillah Yusof defended the "bonus" paid by Pelaburan Hartanah Berhad (PHB) despite the government-linked company failing to meet its 2023 key performance indicator (KPI).
Speaking in the Dewan Rakyat, Fadillah explained that the payout, described as a "special payment" or "incentive," was due to increased revenue.
Previously it was reported that PHB achieved only 42% of its KPI for 2023 but still decided to award a bonus of 2.75 months.
