Eight candidates are in the running for the three vice-president posts in the ongoing Umno election.
Their candidacy was announced in a ceremony at a hotel in Kuala Lumpur last night, which Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and his deputy Mohamad Hasan also attended.
Among others, the candidates includes incumbents Mohamed Khaled Nordin, Padang Terap MP Mahdzir Khalid, de facto law minister Azalina Othman Said and Pahang Menteri Besar Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail.
