A video clip of a man being beaten up – allegedly by the husband of his lover – has gone viral on social media.
The clip, which is about two-minutes 20-seconds long, was posted on Monday and was said to have been filmed in front of a bank in Kuala Besut, Jerteh in Terengganu.
Besut district police chief Supt Mohd Zamri Mohd Rowi confirmed to the daily that the incident did take place. He said the man and woman were taken to the Kuala Besut police station after the incident, but no report was lodged.
