The Dolan Twins are opening up to their fans like never before.
It’s hard to be completely honest, but Ethan and Grayson did just that in their latest video.
Fans have been completely worried about Ethan ever since he went radio silent on social media after his Twitter confession about the state of his mental health. But don’t worry you guys, the twins are doing just fine.
In fact, Ethan and Grayson put out a very honest video titled ‘It’s Time to be Honest’ to their channel and in it, the guys basically explained the events that led up to the moment where they both realized it was time to well, be honest with their fans.
Ethan went on to explain the story, revealing that he and Grayson were in the middle of filming for a video that he was initially iffy about when everything they had planned just fell through. So, the stress of their plans not working out just turned Ethan into this whole different person.
Grayson then revealed that he tried to help his brother get through the stress and anxiety and then one thing led to another and they both ended up with hand injuries. Ethan got his from punching a glass window out of frustration and Grayson ended up cracking and bending his finger sideways after falling to the ground with Ethan. Ouch.
While the video was very tough for the guys to film, in the end, Grayson said that he felt much better sharing their story of the emotional toll that fame can sometimes take on a person.
It’s nice to see social media stars be honest and real about their experiences – their story is definitely an important reminder that we should all take care of ourselves – mentally and physically.
